Completing "The Little Man" Quilt

I have changed the name of my baby quilt to "The Little Man" quilt. The Reason is, as it is for a darling baby boy that hasn't arrived, and Daddy is going to need this when he is taking care of the little guy.
When I started this blog idea, the 2nd entry was about this quilt that I was making for this new little one. Well, I finished it and have taken pics along the way. First you see it here on the long-arm machining getting it ready to quilt. Loading the quilt is quite a process. I was glad Kathy (the owner of the machine), knew what she was doing. This was the very 1st quilting that I have done on one of these machines, and it was a BLAST! I loved it!! Ok, so after the long-arm quilting comes putting on the binding. First there is the sewing it on by machine. Then there is the hand stitching it around. Of course everyone needs a little help with this, and since I was at my friend Carol's house and had my handy helper, Jazz with me, he seemed to think he needed to take a nap on the quilt as well. Yes, he had just had a bath! He just loves to be right in the middle of it all. Aahhhh, Finished! Doesn't it look Great! I had sooooo much fun making this quilt, every bit of it, and now that I have quilted on the long-arm, I am really excited to continue on finishing up some of those UFO's I have in my closet! Now lets see,..... what shall I work on next?
