The Wells' visited over Memorial Day weekend and Janice and I visited Pendleton QuiltWorks, and walked out with a new quilt for me to put together for her! I am excited about it! Maggie needs her room updated to a 9yr olds style and with these fabrics, it looks like we are going to be able to work some magic on her room!
I think these are some great colors to work with.....some of Maggie's favorites!
I am using the pattern, 'Just Can't Cut It', and it is going together nicely. I love to quilt, but it can be an immoderate craft to have. With this project, Janice purchased the materials, and I get to put it together and quilt it as well. The colors here aren't as bright as in person, but they are beautiful together. They are {sapid = having a strong pleasant flavor}. The back will have a dark purple minky.....very soft and cuddly for those cold nights in Camas.
